The Alliston & District Humane Society is a registered charity. ADHS receives no funding from any level of government and must raise funds for the care of its foster animals through donations and fundraising activities such as the Walkadogathon.

The Alliston & District Humane Society adopts homeless animals into new families and investigates cases of animal cruelty. The animals are fostered by volunteer caregivers until suitable homes are found. Although the land has been purchased not enough money has been raised to build the shelter. An animal shelter would enable us to help so many more desperate animals. Alliston & District Humane Society
