The 2011 Walk-A-Dog-A-Thon was a great success despite a big thunderstorm that rolled in. Owners and their very brave dogs came out to support the ADHS. Although dogs and owners didn’t walk or do the dog games there was a BBQ and pledge level prizes were given out. $7,010 was raised for the animals..

Come join the Alliston & District Humane Society at the annual Walkadogathon. The walk is on June 4th, 2011 at Earl Rowe Provincial Park. Join us for a day of fun for you and your dog. Lots of prizes, dog games after the walk and a BBQ. Help us raise money for the shelter building fund.

Guaranteed prize for pledges of $100 or more, contests for you and your dog, goody bags and charity BBQ. Prizes for highest pledges turned in. All proceeds to the animal shelter building fund. A dog is not required to get pledges and participate in the walk.
